I spent the better part of the past decade living in NYC and working across multiple industries (entertainment production, advertising, and entertainment law, to name a few). Then, as luck and divine coincidence should have it, I married a great guy I had graduated high school with and we set about building our life together by returning to our New England hometown in 2019.

I’ve always been waiting for the time when work would slow down and I could begin creating my anthology, the written pieces that would become my life’s work. Somewhere down the line, though, my life’s work became work itself. In moments of mental self-flagellation this can seem like a loss, but then I’m reminded it’s never worthwhile to mourn what wasn’t when there’s so much to celebrate about what was. And what there was, is, and will be in the day-to-day of the work I do is worth exploring. So, that’s what I’m doing here.

As for connecting with others in our all-too-digital world, I make myself scarce on social media but I’m always happy to answer emails. I will also unabashedly butt into your conversation if I hear you discussing any of the following topics:

  • Bruce Springsteen’s or Meatloaf’s discography.

  • The Muppets.

  • This scene from Extras.
